The librarian keeps the village's records, and a shelf of things that happened to people who went looking. Take a role, take up to three of your family, and go and see. Turns are taken whenever you open the app; if somebody goes quiet, the party rolls for them and carries on.

Frens are ornaments on the farm and nothing else — until you take one down into the stacks, where they wake up and fight. You free them by clearing a ladder: they come up the stairs behind you like hostages.

Plants growing side by side affect each other's harvest. Plant a bed and harvest it to find out what it does — or read an almanac page and skip the guesswork. Pages turn up in the furrows, and the General Store stocks the torn ones.
